ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984

TEMPORARY TRAFFIC ORDER - LAND BEYOND FESTIVAL

1. NOTICE is hereby given that Brighton & Hove City Council have on the 17 April 2025 made an Order pursuant to powers in Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended which has the following effect:

Road Closure - Mill Road from the entrance to the BP garage (near junction of London Road) to the roundabout at Dyke Road Avenue: Thursday, 1 May 2025 - 18:00 to 23:59 Friday, 2 May 2025 - 00.00 to 23:59 Saturday, 3 May 2025 - 00:00 to 23:59 Sunday, 4 May 2025 - 00.00 to 23.59 Monday, 5 May 2025 - 00:00 to 11:30

(a) During the event, under direction of event officials, these measures may be lifted to enable vehicular access for residents. Waterhall Road - from 08:00 on 1 May 2025 to 11:30 on 5 May 2025, the temporary prohibition of general traffic, with the exception of emergency vehicles, cyclists and event vehicles. Temporary Taxi Rank - London Road (northbound). From 12:00 on 1 May 2025 to 23:59 on 4 May 2025, the temporary prohibition of waiting in the marked bays on the northbound carriageway along Patcham Place, except for taxi pick up and drop off only.

2. The Order is necessary for the safe egress of people leaving Land Beyond Festival.

3. This Order comes into force for the above dates and times.
