Brighton Grove - Prohibition All Vehicular Traffic For Works
What is happening?
CITY OF NEWCASTLE UPON TYNE
(BRIGHTON GROVE) TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2025
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on 17 April 2025 the Council of the City of Newcastle upon Tyne made an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit all vehicular traffic from proceeding at a point 190 metres south of its junction with Studley Terrace for 80 metres in a southernly direction.
2. The alternative route for traffic will be signed on site as required.
3. The order is required to allow works to be carried out on or near the highway.
4. Exemptions will be provided for vehicles engaged in the said works.
5. The Order will come into operation on 12 May 2025 and will continue, as and when the relevant traffic signs are displayed, up to 25 May 2025 or until the proposed works are completed, whichever is the earlier.
