What is happening?
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE –
PORTSDOWN HILL ROAD, HAVANT
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council intends to make an order under S.14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.
ROAD TO BE CLOSED:
That part of Portsdown Hill Road between its junction with Nelson Road and continuing to a point 130 metres Eastwards on Portsdown Hill Road.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE:
Havant Road, London Road, Southwick Hill Road.
DURATION OF ORDER:
From Tuesday 6th May 2025 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than Tuesday 6th May 2025 and working between the hours 09:30–15:30).
