ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
What is happening?
Warwickshire County Council has made the following Temporary Traffic Orders:
AVONDALE ROAD, BRANDON
Order Effect: Road Closed to vehicular traffic from a point outside property number 20. In addition, the One-way traffic flow will be temporarily suspended.
Reason for Order: To repair/replace defective manhole frame & covers, 09.30hrs-15.30hrs.
Order Commences: 2 May 2025 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 2 May 2025.
Access & Diversion: Rugby Road, Main Street, School Street, Fosse Way, Brandon Road, Bretford Road.
Contractor: Customer Solutions Plus, Tel: 07918 298 599.
BARR LANE, BRINKLOW
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic between 1 Barr Lane & Revel Pharmacy.
Reason for Order: To safely enable installation of gas works. Road closed weekends only.
Order Commences: 26 April 2025 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 4 May 2025.
Access & Diversion: No diversion available.
Access/Egress to be maintained to businesses and residents only where safe and possible to do so.

CHURCH ROAD, GRANDBOROUGH
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.
Reason for Order: For works to lay a new domestic gas service.
Order Commences: 28 April 2025 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 1 May 2025.
Access & Diversion: Church Road, Sawbridge Road, Main Street and vice versa.
Contractor: Headway TM, Tel: 01214 744 344.
TOWER ROAD, RUGBY
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.
Reason for Order: To enable installation of a boundary box and meter.
Order Commences: 28 April 2025 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 29 April 2025.
Access & Diversion: Naseby Road, Tower Road and vice versa.
Contractor: Chevron TM Ltd, Tel: 03300 080 820.
For all of the above temporary orders, pedestrian access to and egress from properties and land situated adjacent to the length of road to be closed will be maintained at all times. Vehicular access will be maintained where possible.
