Salisbury Road, Ringwood - Temporary Road Closure due to Resurfacing Works
What is happening?
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE – A338 SALISBURY ROAD, RINGWOOD, NEW FOREST
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council intends to make an order under S.14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: that part of A338 Salisbury Road southbound only, between its junction with Old Salisbury Road and its junction with B3347 Mansfield Road, eastern side of the roundabout only.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTES:
• For HGV’s – A338, A36, M27.
• For Local Traffic – Old Salisbury Road, Northfield Road, Gorley Road, Southampton Road, B3347.
DURATION OF ORDER: from 6th May 2025 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 11 weeks, working between the hours 20:00-06:00).
The road closure has been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate works for National Highways to carry out resurfacing works. If there are any queries or enquires regarding this Order, please contact: kevin.shaughnessy@nationalhighways.co.uk
National Highways will provide reasonable facilities to allow access to adjacent premises and provide notice to those directly affected while the work is being carried out.
