THE LIVERPOOL CITY COUNCIL (7 BEACONSFIELD STREET, LIVERPOOL) COMPULSORY PURCHASE ORDER 2025

COMPULSORY PURCHASE OF LAND IN LIVERPOOL

Notice is hereby given that Liverpool City Council has made the Liverpool City Council (7 Beaconsfield Street, Liverpool) Compulsory Purchase Order 2025 under section 226(1) (a) of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990. It is about to submit this order to the Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government for confirmation, and if confirmed, the order will authorise Liverpool City Council to purchase compulsorily the land described below for the purpose of enabling the redevelopment or reuse of the property to provide housing.

A copy of the order and of the accompanying map may be seen between the hours of 8am and 5pm, Monday to Friday (not Bank Holidays), at Legal Services, Liverpool City Council, Cunard Building, Pier Head, Water Street, Liverpool L3 1DS.

Any objection to the order must be made in writing to the Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government, National Planning Casework Unit, 5 St Philip’s Place, Colmore Row, Birmingham B3 2PW before 24th May 2025 and should state the title of the order, the grounds of objection and the objector’s address and interests in the land.

All interests, other than those of the Acquiring Authority or the Duchy of Lancaster, in 82 square metres or thereabouts of land at 7 Beaconsfield Street, Liverpool L8 2UU
