TEMPORARY 30 MPH SPEED LIMIT AND TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF STOPPING (24 HOUR RURAL CLEARWAY)
CATTON ROAD AND UNNAMED ROAD LEADING FROM CATTON ROAD PAST CATTON PARK, WALTON ON TRENT TO CATTON

TEMPORARY 30MPH SPEED LIMIT:
From 12 May to 01 June 2025, 23 June to 30 June 2025 and 27 July to 15 August 2025
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF STOPPING (24 HOUR RURAL CLEARWAY):
From 19 to 26 May 2025, 16 June to 04 July 2025 and 04 August to 11 August 2025
WHERE: It will be necessary to prohibit traffic from travelling at a speed in excess of 30 mph and prohibit stopping at any time, on Catton Road and the Unnamed Road leading from Catton Road past Catton Park, between the Derbyshire / Staffordshire County boundary at Catton and a point 3950m (4320yds) north of that point at Walton on Trent.
REASON: To provide a safe environment for event traffic and pedestrians during major events at Catton Hall. The restriction will be in force for the time stated. Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire - 01629 533190.
The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit traffic from travelling at a speed in excess of 30 mph and to prohibit stopping at any time.
