What is happening?

(C26 MOSSEND/U37 POLBETH ROAD, WEST CALDER) (TEMPORARY ROAD RESTRICTION AND TRAFFIC REGULATION) ORDER 2025 - TTO/25/154
The Council have made an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which will be that the road noted in the Schedule below will be closed for the period specified to enable resurfacing and lining works to be carried out. Traffic will be diverted as undernoted. Pedestrians will be unaffected.

SCHEDULE - ROAD CLOSURES IN WEST CALDER
Location: (1) U37 Polbeth Road: From junction with Brierstonhill Drive, westwards to the junction with the C26; and (2) C26 Mossend: From a point 45m or thereby south of junction with U37 Polbeth Road, northwards for a distance of 75m or thereby.
Dates and Times: 1600hrs on 5 May to 0730hrs on 16 May 2025.
Phased closure (back/night shift).
Diversion Route: Via C26, Cleughbrae B792, A71 Alderstone Road, Charlesfield Road, Simpson Parkway, B7015 and vice versa. Access to Brierston Estate via A71, U37 Polbeth Road and vice versa.
