Lowfield Road, Anlaby - Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic
What is happening?

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 (I)TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC LOWFIELD ROAD, ANLABY (PART)
Notice is hereby given that East Riding of Yorkshire Council intends not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order, the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along Lowfield Road, Anlaby (between numbers 47A and Strathavon number 51) commencing 5 May 2025 to allow for drainage connection works to be carried out by Redevelop Civil Engineering on behalf of Elevale Limited. The road closure is necessary to enable the works to be carried out in a manner consistent with ensuring the safety of the public.
The Order is valid for 18 months, but it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 23 May 2025.
The alternative route for traffic affected by the road closure will be via Lowfield Road, Beverley Road and Wilson Street, Anlaby.
The diversion route will be signed at the time of closure.
The road will be closed to all traffic but access will be maintained for residents, emergency services and pedestrians. Further information can be obtained by contacting the council and asking for Highways Customer Care, telephone (01482) 393939.
