are undertaken.
NOTICE is also given that the alternative route for vehicles
affected by the Order is via Austwood Lane, Willow Crescent,
Cockhill Field Lane, Doncaster Road.

intend, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to
make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic
Regulation Act 1984 as amended by the Road Traffic
(Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991 because works are being
or proposed to be executed on or near the road and the effect
will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding in that length of
Common Lane at Almholme in the City of Doncaster District as
described in the Schedule to this notice on the dates and
times referred to in the said Schedule.
Reason for closure: To ensure the safety of the public and the

conductor to reinforce network are undertaken.
NOTICE is also given that there is no alternative route for
vehicles affected by the Order. Those residents and

will be to prohibit any vehicle/pedestrian from proceeding in
that section of road that comprises of the railway level
crossing area on Old Doncaster Road at Denaby in the City of

NOTICE is hereby given that the City of Doncaster Council
intend, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to
make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic
Regulation Act 1984 as amended by the Road Traffic
(Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991 because works are being
or proposed to be executed on or near the road and the effect
will be to prohibit any vehicle/pedestrian from proceeding in
that section of road that comprises of the railway level
crossing on Moss Road at Askern in the City of Doncaster
District and suspend the weight restriction as described in the
Schedule to this notice on the dates and times referred to in
the said Schedule.
Reason for closure: To ensure the safety of the public
and the workforce whilst works to re-rail Moss Level Crossing
are undertaken.
NOTICE is also given that the alternative route for vehicles/
pedestrians affected by the Order is via Moss Road, Trumfleet
Lane, Moss Lane, Marsh Road, Thorpe Bank, Fordstead Lane,
Almholme Lane, Station Road, Arksey Lane, Askern Road,

2) Close Back Lane, Thorne from its junction with Elmhirst
Road to its junction with Church Balk.
3) Suspend the One Way Order on Back Lane, Thorne for
access only.
Dates and Times
On or after 07:30hrs 6th May 2025 until 15:30hrs
13th June 2025.
The works will be undertaken in phases and road closures will
not be in place at the same time.
In the event of engineering difficulties and/or adverse weather
conditions, the closure may extend beyond this date although
all closures to be completed by the 30th June 2025.

PUBLIC FOOTPATH NO. 3 (PART) AND NO. 7 BARNBURGH
CREATION ORDER 2025
On 23rd day of April 2025, City of Doncaster Council
confirmed the above order made under section 26 of the
Highways Act 1980.
The effect of the order as confirmed is to create a public
footpath (1) from Barnburgh footpath no. 3 at grid reference
SE 4908 0356 proceeding generally east-north-easterly
through the wood for some 109 metres to rejoin Barnburgh
footpath no. 3 at grid reference SE 4918 0359; (2) from
Barnburgh footpath no. 3 at grid reference SE 4921 0359
proceeding east-south-easterly then north-easterly through
the wood for some 60 metres, thence continuing along the
field boundary for some 36 metres before turning east-south-
easterly along the boundary of the next field for some 6
metres to grid reference SE 4929 0362, thence heading
north-north-easterly for some 58 metres to rejoin Barnburgh
footpath no. 3 at grid reference SE 4932 0367; (3) from
Barnburgh footpath no. 3 at grid reference SE 4929 0362
proceeding east-south-easterly along the field boundary for
some 337 metres to Barnburgh bridleway no. 4 at grid
reference SE 4959 0347, as shown on the order map.

3BU, from 9.00 a.m. to 4.30 p.m. on Mondays to Fridays.

EXTINGUISHMENT ORDER 2025
On 23rd day of April 2025, City of Doncaster Council
confirmed the above order made under section 118 of the
Highways Act 1980.
The effect of the order as confirmed is to extinguish the public
footpath (1) running from Barnburgh footpath no. 3 at grid
reference SE 4908 0356 proceeding north-north-westerly
along the field boundary for some 24 metres before heading
generally easterly through the wood for some 115 metres to
Barnburgh footpath no. 3 at grid reference SE 4918 0359; (2)
running from Barnburgh footpath no. 3 at grid reference SE
4921 0359 proceeding generally north-easterly along the
watercourse for some 138 metres to Barnburgh footpath no. 3
at grid reference SE 4932 0367; (3) running from grid
reference SE 4932 0360 proceeding east-south-easterly
along the field boundary for some 308 metres to Barnburgh
bridleway no. 4 at grid reference SE 4959 0347, as shown on
the order map.
