WALSALL METROPOLITAN BOROUGH COUNCIL

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14(1)

(AS AMENDED BY THE ROAD TRAFFIC TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS ACT 1991)

DEFINITIVE PUBLIC FOOTPATH 118 WILLENHALL (PART) BETWEEN

NEACHALLS LANE AND HOLMAN CRESCENT

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF PEDESTRIANS) ORDER 2025


NOTICE is hereby given that the Walsall Metropolitan Borough Council intend to make an Order, the effect of which will be to prohibit any traffic from proceeding along the Definitive Public Right of Way known as Footpath 118 Willenhall, between Noose Lane and Holman Close.
The alternative route for pedestrians affected by this order will be along an unnamed footpath, Watery Lane, Noose Lane, Noose Crescent and Holman Close.
Access to the footpath will be unavailable for the duration of footpath reconstruction works, which are programmed to commence at 08.00am on 6 th May 2025. The Order will remain in force for up to a maximum period of 6 months, or until the works are completed, whichever is sooner. It is anticipated that the works will be completed,
and the footpath will re-open within 14 days.
Closure during this period is necessary in the interests of public safety during works
which are being undertaken by Tarmac on behalf of Walsall Council.
