What is happening?

FALKIRK COUNCIL

THE FALKIRK COUNCIL (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

The Council has made the Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to temporarily prohibit vehicles on:

Hamilton Street, Falkirk from 09:30 on 27/04/25 until 07:00 on 28/04/26. The prohibition is to allow for Ironworks repairs to be undertaken.

1. This order temporarily closes Hamilton Street, Falkirk from a point adjacent to Glasgow Road in a southerly direction for approximately 25 metres or thereby.
2. The alternative route is: Brown Street, Watling Street, Glasgow Road or vice versa.

A883, Denny from 08:00 on 28/04/25 until 17:00 on 03/05/25. The prohibition is to allow for Utility works to be undertaken.

1. This order temporarily closes A883, Denny from a point adjacent to M876 slip in a westerly direction for approximately 500 metres or thereby.
2. The alternative route is: A883, A872, A803, A883 or vice versa.

B803 Slamannan Road, Falkirk from 08:00 on 28/04/25 until 17:00 on 29/04/25. The prohibition is to allow for Telecommunications works to be undertaken.

1. This order temporarily closes B803 Slamannan Road, Falkirk from a point adjacent to Westerglen in a southerly direction for approximately 350 metres or thereby.
2. The alternative route is: B803, B8022, B825, B8028, B803 or vice versa.

Lock Sixteen, Falkirk from 08:00 on 28/04/25 until 17:00 on 23/06/25. The prohibition is to allow for Bridge repairs to be undertaken.

1. This order temporarily closes Lock Sixteen, Falkirk from a point adjacent to Portdownie in a northerly direction for approximately 50 metres or thereby.
2. The alternative route is: B816, A803, Union Road or vice versa.

THE FALKIRK COUNCIL (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF WAITING) ORDER 2025

The Council has made the Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to temporarily prohibit waiting in:

Glasgow Road, Camelon from 09:30 on 27/04/25 until 07:00 on 28/04/26. The prohibition is to allow for Ironworks repairs to be undertaken.

1. This order prohibits waiting on Glasgow Road, Camelon from a point adjacent to Hamilton Street in both directions on both sides for approximately 100 metres or thereby.

Bellsdyke Road, Larbert from 09:30 on 27/04/25 until 07:00 on 28/04/26. The prohibition is to allow for Ironworks repairs to be undertaken.

1. This order prohibits waiting on Bellsdyke Road, Larbert from a point adjacent to Number 90 in a westerly direction on both sides for approximately 80 metres or thereby.

Stirling Street, Denny from 09:30 until 18:00 on 30/04/25. The prohibition is to allow for Scottish Water works to be undertaken.

1. This order prohibits waiting on Stirling Street, Denny from a point adjacent to number 111 in a westerly direction on both sides for approximately 100 metres or thereby.

Bulloch Crescent, Denny from 09:30 until 18:00 on 02/05/25. The prohibition is to allow for Scottish Water works to be undertaken.

1. This order prohibits waiting on Bulloch Crescent, Denny from a point adjacent to Smith Place in an easterly direction on both sides for approximately 60 metres or thereby.
