THE WOLVERHAMPTON CITY COUNCIL
(BILSTON ROAD RIGHT HAND TURN/
HOSPITAL STREET) (TEMPORARY
PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Wolverhampton City Council propose to make an Order under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as substituted by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991,
prohibiting vehicles from proceeding on the following
stretches of road: Right hand turn on Bilston Road A41 into Hospital Street
closed. Vehicular diversion route: Bilston Road, Steelhouse Lane, Kent Road, Dixon Street, Thompson Avenue, Birmingham Road, Derry Street,
Vicarage Road, Cleveland Road and vice versa. Hospital Street closed its entire length in both directions. Vehicular diversion route: Bilston Road,
Ring Road St Georges, Birmingham Road, Derry Street, Vicarage Road, Cleveland Road.
The Order may operate for a maximum period of eighteen months, but it is anticipated that the works will be undertaken from 09:30 on 28 April 2025 until 15:30 on 25 May 2025.
The Order is required to facilitate demolition/new development works by PBM Demolition.
