ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984: SECTION 14(1)

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC ORDER 2025 COSTIN STREET, BEDFORD 25 – 027

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Bedford Borough Council intend not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle, except a vehicle being used for fire, police or ambulance purposes in an emergency, from proceeding along Costin Street, Bedford.

This temporary road closure is required to facilitate carriageway resurfacing and shall apply to such extent as may from time to time be indicated by the appropriate traffic signs.

This temporary road closure is anticipated to be in operation 20:00 to 06:00 hours from 12th May 2025 to 24th May 2025

The proposed Order will come into operation on 12th May 2025, for a period of 12 months or until the proposed works have been completed, as detailed above, whichever is the earlier. For further information please contact Bedford Borough Council Tel: 01234 718003.

ALEXANDRA PLACE, BEDFORD 25 – 020

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Bedford Borough Council intend not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle, except a vehicle being used for fire, police or ambulance purposes in an emergency, from proceeding along Alexandra Place, Bedford.

This temporary road closure is required to facilitate re surfacing carriageway and shall apply to such extent as may from time to time be indicated by the appropriate traffic signs.

This temporary road closure is anticipated to be in operation 08:00 to 18:00 hours from 22nd May 2025 to 27th May 2025

The signed alternative route for vehicles affected by the order is available via Alexandra Road, Conduit Road, Bromham Road, Hassett Street, Greyfriars, Alexandra Place.

The reverse route applies.

This temporary road closure is required to facilitate carriageway resurfacing and shall apply to such extent as may from time to time be indicated by the appropriate traffic signs.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Bedford Borough Council intend not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle, except a vehicle being used for fire, police or ambulance purposes in an emergency, from proceeding along Manor Road, Kempston Hardwick. This temporary road closure is required to facilitate Inspection of bridge Pot Hole repairs, White line Painting and shall apply to such extent as may from time to time be indicated by the appropriate traffic signs.

This temporary road closure is anticipated to be in operation 23:00 to 04:00 hours from 17th May 2025 to 19th May 2025

The signed alternative route for vehicles affected by the order is available via Woburn Road, Marston Bypass, Bedford Road, Station Road, Station Lane, Sandhill Close, Millbrook Road, Ampthill Road, Manor Road.

The reverse route applies.

The proposed Order will come into operation on 17th May 2025, for a period of 12 months or until the proposed works have been completed, as detailed above, whichever is the earlier. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Bedford Borough Council intend not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle, except a vehicle being used for fire, police or ambulance purposes in an emergency, from proceeding along Wilden Road, Renhold outside 27. This temporary road closure is required to facilitate water main connection and shall apply to such extent as may from time to time be indicated by the appropriate traffic signs.

This temporary road closure is anticipated to be in operation 08:00 to 17:00 hours 21st May 2025

The signed alternative route for vehicles affected by the order is available via Wilden Road, Hookhams Lane, Church Lane, Goldington Green, Goldington Road, St Neots Road, Water End, Green End, Top End, Church End. The reverse route applies.

HIGH STREET, SHARNBROOK 25 – 024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Bedford Borough Council intend not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle, except a vehicle being used for fire, police or ambulance purposes in an emergency, from proceeding along High Street, Sharnbrook junction Park Lane.

This temporary road closure is required to facilitate water valve repairs and shall apply to such extent as may from time to time be indicated by the appropriate traffic signs. This temporary road closure is anticipated to be in operation 23:00 to 06:00 hours from 19th June 2025 to 20th June 2025

The signed alternative route for vehicles affected by the order is available via Mill Road, Rushden Road, Stocking Lane, Sharnbrook Road, Souldrop Road, High Street.

The reverse route applies.
