Bury Street - Temporary Road Closure

What is happening?

The Council of the City of Salford intends to make in no less than 7 days Salford City Council (Bury Street, Salford) (Temporary Road Closure) Order 2025. under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

The Order will temporarily introduce the following restrictions.

Temporary Road Closure of Bury Street - from the junction of Chapel Street to the junction of Cross Street, Salford, M3 7WQ.

The order is intended to come into operation on Monday 5th May 2025 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier.

The closure will be in place 24 hours each day.

A copy of the proposed Order and plans of the area may be examined at Swinton Gateway, 100 Chorley Road, Swinton, M27 6BP, Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm to Fri inclusive.
