THE NOTTINGHAMSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
(MAIN STREET AND MILL LANE, CAUNTON)
(PROHIBITION OF WAITING) TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2025 (3387)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Nottinghamshire County Council Has Made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, Traffic Management Act 2004, as amended, and The Civil Enforcement of Parking Contraventions (County of Nottinghamshire) Designation Order 2008 (SI 2008 No. 1086), as amended, the effects of which will be, in respects of roads at Caunton in the District of Newark and Sherwood: -
Prohibition of Waiting At Any Time along the following lengths of road: -
Main Street, Caunton (both sides)
* From its junction with Mill Lane in a south-westerly direction for 10 metres.
Mill Lane, Caunton (the south-west side)
* From a point 10 metres north-west of its junction with Main Street in a south-easterly direction to a point 10 metres south-east of that junction

THIS ORDER WILL COME INTO FORCE ON 25th APRIL 2025
The proposals have been introduced to deal with inconsiderate and obstructive parking at this junction.
