Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the C194 Church Road from outside of the property known as No.73 Church Road to outside of the property known as No.81 Church Road for a distance of approximately 110 metres.

The reason for the said closure is for replacement of a defective manhole frame and cover.

The said road is expected to be closed between the hours of 09:30hrs and 15:30 on 28th April 2025 only or until the works have been completed.

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the 400324 Cleeve Mill Lane Road at its junction with Cleeve Mill Lane Bridge over Ell Brook for a distance of approximately 20 metres (only over the said bridge).

The reason for the said closure is for works to the said bridge.

The said road is expected to be closed from 28th April 2025 to 6th June 2025 or until the said works have been completed.

The said road is expected to be closed from 08:00hrs on 28th April 2025 to 16:00hrs on 30th April 2025 or until the said works have been completed.

The said road is expected to be closed between 08:00hrs and 17:00hrs on 28th April 2025 only or until the works have been completed.

Temporary Closure U45673 Howells Road (Tewkesbury Town) Tewkesbury Borough

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the U45673 Howells Road from its junction with Oldfield to its junction with the ‘Hospital Carpark entrance’ for a distance of approximately 75 metres.

The reason for the said closure is to enable a Mobile Elevating Work Platform to be installed for work to mobile antenna.

The said road is expected to be closed from 30th April 2025 to 1st May 2025 (between 08:00 and 18:00 daily) or until the works have been completed.

Temporary Closure Of Public Footpaths Fly 44, Daw 81 And Daw 84 (Awre Parish) (Lydney Town) Forest Of Dean District

NOTICE is hereby given that Gloucestershire County Council has made an Order to close temporarily under Sections 14, 15 and 16 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 (as amended) part of the Public Footpaths as defined in the schedule below: 

SCHEDULE
Part of Public Footpath FLY 44 from its junction with Public Footpath FLY 43 extending in a generally north easterly direction for approximately 1640 metres to its junction with FLY 50.

Part of Public Footpath DAW 81 from its junction with road number C24 road from junction at Gurshill Farm to Junction at Chandlers extending in a generally north easterly direction for approximately 1200 metres to its junction with DAW 82.

Part of Public Footpath DAW 84 from its junction with DAW 82 extending in a generally north easterly direction for approximately 620 metres and then continuing in a north westerly direction for approximately 250 metres to its junction with Class 5 road Pleasant View.

The Public Footpaths fall within the Parish of Awre and the Town of Lydney in the Forest of Dean District, in the County of Gloucestershire.

The closure is necessary to protect the public while nailing and netting of railway embankments are completed.

The order will come into force on 19th April 2025 and it is anticipated that the Public Footpaths will remain closed until 19th October 2025. 

This Order can authorises the closure for a period of up to six months. 

After this date if the closure is still required it will be necessary to apply to the Secretary of State for an extension of time.
