(B709 TRAQUAIR, SOUTH OF INNERLEITHEN) (TEMPORARY CLOSING) ORDER 2025

The Scottish Borders Council (B709 Traquair, South of Innerleithen) (Temporary Closing) Order 2025 has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force on 23 April 2025 and is expected to remain in effect for a period of one day between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30. The Order is required for BT Openreach works.

When the Order comes into effect no person shall drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle along the B709 Traquair, South of Innerleithen.

The alternative route for northbound traffic is via the B709, A708, A707, A72 and B709 to the point of closure, for southbound traffic the reverse of the foregoing.

(CHAPEL STREET, INNERLEITHEN) (TEMPORARY CLOSING) ORDER 2025

The Scottish Borders Council (Chapel Street, Innerleithen) (Temporary Closing) Order 2025 has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force at 08:00 on 22 April 2025 and is expected to remain in effect until 19:00 on 25 April 2025. The Order is required for Scottish Water works.

When the Order comes into effect no person shall drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle along Chapel Street, north of Caledonia Mill, Innerleithen.

The alternative route for northbound traffic is via Chapel Street, Bond Street, Leithen Road, Strand, Damside and Chapel Street to the point of closure, for southbound traffic the reverse of the foregoing.
