ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14
THE COUNTY OF DEVON (TEMPORARY RESTRICTION) (SID ROAD, SIDMOUTH) ORDER 2025
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC
NOTICE is hereby given that Devon County Council intends to make the above titled order. From 12/5/25 for a maximum of 18 months. Anticipated Finish 23/5/25. No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed on the sections of Affected Roads.
Roads affected: SID ROAD, SIDMOUTH. The alternative, signed, route for vehicles will be via - SALCOMBE ROAD, VICARAGE ROAD, TEMPLE STREET, ARCOT ROAD, SIDFORD ROAD, SCHOOL STREET, CHURCH STREET, ROAD FROM VILLAGE END TO STEVENS CROSS, FORTESCUE ROAD & VICE VERSA.

Roads affected: MANSTONE LANE, SIDMOUTH. The alternative, signed, route for vehicles will be via - MANSTONE LANE - MANSTONE LANE, ARCOT ROAD, SIDFORD ROAD, MANSTONE LANE. VICE VERSA. This temporary restriction is considered necessary to enable: ROAD CLOSURE & PROHIBITION OF PARKING REQUIRED FOR GAS MAINS REPLACEMENT WORKS.
