(Public Footpath No 17 Mavesyn Ridware Parish)
Public Path Diversion And Definitive Map And Statement Modification Order 2025
The above Order, made on 8 April 2025 under Section 119 of the Highways Act 1980 and Section 53A(2) of the Wildlife & Countryside Act 1981, will divert Public Footpath No 17 in the Parish of Mavesyn Ridware commencing off Church Lane at Grid Reference 408616, 316920 and running in a generally east north easterly direction for a distance of approximately 606 metres to the Uttoxeter Road at Grid Reference 409183, 316788 onto a line commencing off Church Lane in the Parish of Mavesyn Ridware at Grid Reference 408615, 316919 and running in a southerly and then easterly direction along the flood bank for a distance of approximately 909 metres to the Uttoxeter Road at Grid Reference 409182, 316782 and shown on the Order Map.
It will also modify the Definitive Map and Statement for Staffordshire accordingly.
A copy of the Order and Order map have been placed and may be seen free of charge during normal office hours at the offices of Staffordshire County Council, Corporate Reception, 1 Staffordshire Place, Tipping Street, Stafford, ST16 2DH Mon-Fri. 8.30 am to 5.00 pm. Copies of the Orders and maps may be bought there at the price of 10p per A4 page; £2 per map.
Any representations about or objections to the Order may be sent in writing to the Director of Transformation, 2 Staffordshire Place, Tipping Street, Stafford ST16 2DH not later than 5.00 pm on 4 June 2025. Please state the grounds on which they are made.
If no such representations or objections are duly made, or if any so made are withdrawn, the Staffordshire County Council may confirm the Order as an unopposed Order.
If any Order is sent to the Secretary of State for the Environment, Food & Rural Affairs for confirmation, any representations and objections which have not been withdrawn will be sent with the Order.

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 – Temporary 40 Mph Speed Limit
Notice is hereby given that Staffordshire County Council on 22/4/25 made an Order the effect of which is to temporarily reduce the speed limit along:
Meaford Rd, Meaford. For more information regarding access arrangements, timings and diversion routes please visit https://one.network/?tm=142295454.
The Order will come into operation on 29/4/25 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date.
It is anticipated the works will be completed on the same day.
The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the pole replacement works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 – Temporary Prohibition Of Traffic
Notice is hereby given that Staffordshire County Council on 17/4/25 made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along:

It is anticipated the works will be completed by 24/4/25.
The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the safety inspection works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

It is anticipated the works will be completed by 25/04/2025.
The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the frame and cover replacement works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
Notice is hereby given that Staffordshire County Council on 22/4/25 made an Order the effect of which is to temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along:

The Order will come into operation on 30/4/25 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date.
It is anticipated the works will be completed on the same day.
The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the overhead cabling works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
Notice is hereby given that Staffordshire County Council intend not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order the effect of which is to temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along:

The Order will come into operation on 12/5/26 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date.
It is anticipated the works will be completed by 16/5/25.
The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the vegetation clearance works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
