What is happening?

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 – Temporary Prohibition Of Traffic And Suspension Of One-Way

Notice is hereby given that Staffordshire County Council intend not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding in that length of: 

New St, Leek with a suspension of the One-Way Order on Union St, Horton St & New St. For more information regarding access arrangements, timings and diversion routes please visit https://one.network/?tm=142623363.  

The Order will come into operation on 12/5/25 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. 

It is anticipated the works will be completed by 14/5/25. 

The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the new clean water connection works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.


Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 – Temporary 30 M.p.h. Speed Restriction

Notice is hereby given that Staffordshire County Council intend not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an order the effect of which is to implement a temporary 30 MPH speed restriction along:

The Order will come into operation on 12/5/25 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed by 14/5/25.

The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the new water connection works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.


Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 – Temporary Prohibition Of Traffic 

Notice is hereby given that Staffordshire County Council on 7/1/25 made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding in that length of:

Devils Ln, Longsdon. Due to unforeseen circumstances the works (which were due to take place on 13/1/25) have been delayed and are now due to start on 28/4/25.

The Order will come into operation on 30/4/25 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. 

It is anticipated the works will be completed by 30/4/25. 

The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the pole testing works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

It is anticipated the works will be completed by 29/4/25. 

The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the pole replacement works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

The Order will come into operation on 29/4/25 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. 

It is anticipated the works will be completed by 29/4/25. 

The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the pole replacement works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

The Order will come into operation on 28/4/25 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. 

It is anticipated the works will be completed by 28/4/25. 

The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the pole testing works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.


Notice is hereby given that Staffordshire County Council on 22/4/25 made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding in that length of:

The Order will come into operation on 24/4/25 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. 

It is anticipated the works will be completed by 8/5/25. 

The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the Weather permitted mobile Highway Repair and Maintenance works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

It is anticipated the works will be completed by 29/4/25. 

The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the joint box installation works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

It is anticipated the works will be completed by 25/4/25. 

The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the pole replacement works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
