Sawley Road - Temporary Road Closure For Drainage Renewal Works
What is happening?
DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE SAWLEY ROAD, BREASTON
WHEN: 28 April to 02 May 2025 (23:45 to 05:45 each night)
WHERE: Sawley Road, Breaston at the level crossing approx. 700m south of the A6005 Wilsthorpe Road Jct.
REASON: To facilitate drainage renewal works.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Sawley Road, Main Street, Draycott Road, Station Road, Wilne Lane, Wilne Road, Tamworth Road and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will reopen as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised.
Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190. The County Council has made an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
