Dudley - Various Temporary Road Closures
What is happening?
DUDLEY METROPOLITAN BOROUGH COUNCIL
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14(1)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council intends to make the following Orders,
Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council (Temporary Closure of Stocking Street ,Lye) Order 2025 the effect of which is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle proceeding on Stocking Street, Lye, for the purpose of gas mains repairs being carried out on or near the affected road. The order will come into operation on 5/5/25 and will remain in force until 12/5/25 or until the works are completed, whichever is the earlier. The maximum duration of the order is 18 months. No diversion is required as affected road is a cul-de-sac.
Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council (Temporary Closure of Beacon Lane, Sedgley) Order 2025 the effect of which is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle proceeding on Beacon Lane, Sedgley, for the purpose of new gas and electric
connections being carried out on or near the affected road. The order will come into operation on 06/05/2025 and will remain in force until 23/05/2025 or until the works are completed, whichever is the earlier. The maximum duration of the order is 18 months. No diversion route is required.
Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council (Temporary Closure of Dibdale Street, Dudley) Order 2025 the effect of which is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle proceeding on Dibdale Street, Dudley, for the purpose of carriageway reconstruction
being carried out on or near the affected road. The order will come into operation on 09/05/2025 and will remain in force until 19/05/2025 or until the works are completed, whichever is the earlier. The maximum duration of the order is 18
months. Traffic will be diverted via: Himley Road, Milking Bank, Dibdale Road, Highland Road, Salop Street, and vice versa.
Access to frontages and for emergency vehicles will be maintained where safe to do
