Portsmouth - Consolidate The Existing Parking Orders Into One Order
What is happening?
THE PORTSMOUTH CITY COUNCIL (ZONE GB)
(RESIDENTS' PARKING PLACES) (CONSOLIDATION) ORDER 2025
Notice is hereby given that the Portsmouth City Council made the above Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 on 17 April 2025.
1. The effect of the Order will be to consolidate into one Order the following existing Orders, making no changes to the waiting and parking restrictions on-street:
a. Portsmouth City Council (Residents’ Parking Places) (Consolidation) (No.1) Order 2022 - Schedule 24 and part 24 of schedule 46 only
b. The Portsmouth City Council (GB Zone Extension) (Residents' Parking Places and Amendments) (No.3) Order 2022 - in its entirety
2. A copy of the Order is available to view on Portsmouth City Council’s website: search "Traffic Regulation Orders 2025" at
Alternatively, it can be viewed at the Civic Offices, Guildhall Square, PO1 2AL, Monday to Friday between 9am and 4pm. Printed copies can be obtained by calling 023 9268 8501
3. Any person wishing to question the validity of the Order or any of its provisions, on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the relevant enabling Act, or that a requirement of any such enabling Act or of any relevant regulations made thereunder has not been complied with, may, within 6 weeks from the date of the Order, make application for this purpose to the High Court.
4. This Order comes into operation on 25 April 2025.
