Barton Under Needwood Parish
Temporary Closure
Notice is hereby given that the Staffordshire County Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any pedestrians from proceeding along the following sections of Public Footpaths:
– Public Footpath No. 30 Barton under Needwood Parish from its junction with Station Lane for approximately 300 metres in a north easterly direction.
– Public Footpath No. 32 Barton under Needwood Parish from its junction with Station Lane for approximately 154 metres in a north westerly direction.
The closure is required under the provision of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984 Section 14 (1) (b) due to the construction of a bridge over the Walton-on-Trent Bypass.
An alternative route is available and will be signposted on site.
A plan will be displayed on site to show the length of path to be closed and the unaffected rights of way in the area.
This Order will come into operation on 12/5/25 and will remain in force for a period of six months or until the risk of danger to the public is over, whichever is the earlier. If necessary, after six months, the Order may be extended for a further period with the approval of the Secretary of State.

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 – Temporary Prohibition Of Traffic
Notice is hereby given that Staffordshire County Council on 17/4/25 made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding in that length of:
B5016 Town Hill, Yoxall & Yoxall Rd, Woodhouses. For more information regarding access arrangements, timings and diversion routes please visit https://one.network/?tm=142120661.
The Order will come into operation on 25/4/25 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date.
It is anticipated the works will be completed by 25/4/25.
The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the pole testing works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
