(Temporary Prohibition Of Traffic - TTRO (25-044) Order 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the North East Lincolnshire Borough Council have made, an Order, the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any pedestrian or cycle from PROCEEDING along the below sections of highway: 

- OSBORNE STREET - part length from the junction of ABBEY WALK heading in a westerly direction to the junction of GARDEN STREET, for a distance of 115 metres.

Alternative route: Garden Street, Doughty Road

Alternative route 2: Garden Street, Duchess Street, Wellowgate, Bethlehem Street (reverse route applies) - VICTORIA STREET WEST - From the south western property boundary of PIZZA HUT heading in a south westerly direction for a distance of 65 metres to the south western property boundary of LLOYDS BANK PLC.

Alternative pedestrian access available via Freshney Place Shopping Centre.

This temporary prohibition is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed to the Nat West bank involving crane operations.

The Order will come into operation on Sunday, 27 April 2025, and will continue in force for a period not exceeding 6 months unless extended for a further period by the Secretary of State for Transport, or until completion of the works (whichever is the earlier). 

The closure is expected to remain in place until Sunday, 27 April 2025. Definitive dates and times will be notified by on-site advanced warning signs.

The dates and times above are correct at the point of print however implementation on site may vary due to unforeseen circumstances.
