(Braintree District) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On-Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) (Amendment No.48) Order 202*
Notice is hereby given Colchester City Council acting on behalf of the North Essex Parking Partnership in exercise of the delegated powers of the traffic authority Essex County Council granted under an Agreement dated 1st July 2022 proposes to make the above Order under Sections 1(1), 2(1) to (3), 4 (1), 4(2), 32, 35,45,46,49 and 53 and Parts III and IV of schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
The effect of the Order:

To introduce Red route Clearway, No stopping at Any Time restrictions at the junction of Cliffield, Cliffield Crescent and Weathersfield Road, Shalford.

To Introduce No Waiting at Any Time restrictions on the Southwest side of Fennes Road, Braintree from St Nicholas’ Gardens to the staff access road to Bocking Primary school.

To introduce No Waiting at Any Time restrictions in Holman Road, Halstead. On the North side from number 12 westward to the turning area near to 21 Holman Road.

To revoke the No waiting Thurs 6am-6pm on the East side of Stoneham Street, Coggeshall from its junction with Market Hill to its junction with Queen Street and replace with No Waiting Thurs 6am-2pm.

To revoke the No Stopping on Entrance Markings Mon-Fri 8am -9.30am and 2.30pm-4pm restrictions on the East side of Notley road, Braintree (nr John Ray Primary School). Replace with No Stopping Red Route Mon-Fri 8am-9.30am and 2.30pm-4pm. Introduce a Bus Stop Clearway outside 213 Notley Road.

To amend the Essex County Council (Braintree District) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On-Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019 to allow the properties detailed in Column 3 of the table in the Schedule 5 to this Notice to be eligible to purchase permits for the zones listed in Column 1 of that table.
This Order will be incorporated into The Essex County Council (Braintree District) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On-Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019 by replacing tile numbers TL755 260, TL755 217 revision 0 replaced by revision 1, TL845 225, TL852 265 revision 2 replaced by revision 3, TL810 300 revision 1 replaced by revision 2, TL805 300 revision 0 replaced by revision 1, TL855 297 revision 0 replaced by revision 1 and introduce new tile number TL720 292.

(Footpath 21, Kelvedon)
(Temporary Prohibition of Use) Order 2025
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close Footpath 21, Kelvedon in the District of Braintree. From a point approximately 254 metres north of Footpath 11 north for approximately 146 metres.
The closure is scheduled to commence on 28 April 2025 to 27 October 2025 or where appropriate signs are showing and weather permitting.
The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce to enable sufficient working space to construct footpath relating to the new development.
Alternative route: will be via Doughton Road, Petley Way, Seabrook Road, Garrard Way and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 28 April 2025 and may continue in force for 6 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Footpath 59 & 58, Rivenhall)
(Temporary Prohibition of Use) Order 2025
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close Footpath 59 and Footpath 58, Rivenhall in the District of Braintree as below.

The closures are scheduled to commence on 23 April 2025 to 23 September 2025 or where appropriate signs are showing and weather permitting. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while tree removal and road construction is undertaken on the housing development.
Alternative route: will be via footpath 60, Evans Way leading to the Golf Course, 24 hour access will be provided on an alternative route.
The Order will come into effect on 23 April 2025 and may continue in force for 6 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Fairstead Road, Terling)
(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Fairstead Road, Terling in the District of Braintree, from its junction with New Road for a distance of approximately 315m in a north easterly then north westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 30th April 2025 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (KA140R5F1411727–B-RC – Gigaclear). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while blockage clearance works are undertaken by Gigaclear.
An alternative route is available via New Road, Owls Hill, Braintree Road, Fairstead Hall Road, Fairstead Road and vice versa.
The Order came into effect on 10th April 2025 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Links Road, Bradwell)
(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Links Road, Bradwell in the District of Braintree, from its junction with Hollies Road to its junction with Boars Tye Road a distance of approximately 1450m.
The closure is scheduled to commence on 28th April 2025 for 68 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AD01465218727 – Anglian Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while mains replacement works are undertaken by Anglian Water.
An alternative route is available via Hollies Road, Sheepcotes Lane, Boars Tye Road and vice versa.
The Order came into effect on 10th April 2025 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Temporary Introduction of a Clearway) (No.6)
Order 2025
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:

To temporarily close those lengths of roads in the District of Braintree as specified in the Schedule.

A temporary ‘No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping’ restriction will be introduced on both sides of carriageway on the above lengths of roads for the duration of the closures to facilitate the works. Signs will be installed indicating when the No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping restriction will be in force.

“The Essex County Council (Braintree District) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019” will be temporarily amended to include the temporary ‘No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping at Any Time’ restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above lengths of roads only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force.
The works being undertaken will take place within an 18-month period from 10th April 2025 — exact dates will be specified on One.network.
The roads will be closed to facilitate each phase of works and then re-opened to the public. Access will be maintained for emergency services. Diversion routes will be signed at each location and residents will be informed of the dates of each phase via letter/leaflet drop and advanced warning signs on the road.

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Water Lane, Stisted in the District of Braintree, from a point approximately 10m north west of its junction with Milles Lane for a distance of approximately 60m in a north westerly direction.
The closure is scheduled to continue from 12th April 2025 for 43 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP20152444788 – Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while bridge repair works are undertaken by Essex County Council.
An alternative route is available via Water Lane, Bridge Hall Road, A120, Kings Lane, The Street, Water Lane and vice versa.
The Order came into effect on 12th April 2025 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
