Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (RTRA 1984)

The County of Cornwall (Eastwood Road, Penryn) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Penryn.

This prohibition is necessary for rising main replacement works and it is expected that the closure will be from 22nd May 2025 to 30th May 2025.

The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekends included. Road affected - Eastwood Road, Penryn between grid reference SW78848 34172 and the junction of Commercial Road. Pedestrian and Vehicular access will be maintained to properties.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 21st April 2025 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Coverack.

This prohibition is necessary for metering works and it is expected that the closure will be from 6th May 2025 to 8th May 2025. The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekdays only. Road affected - School Hill, Coverack between the properties named Morva and Pindos.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Praze An Beeble.

This prohibition is necessary for pole replacement works and it is expected that the closure will be from 22nd May 2025, for one day. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0930 and 1430, weekdays only. Road affected - Road From School Road To Carvolth, Praze An Beeble between grid reference SW 65310 35838 and the junction with Carvolth Downs. An alternative route will be signed on site. Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 21st April 2025 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned lengths of road in Praze An Beeble.

This prohibition is necessary for poling and tree works and it is expected that the closure will be from 9th May 2025 for one day. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0930 and 1530, weekdays only. Roads affected - Tremayne, Praze An Beeble between the junctions of School Road and Lower Cargenwyn, Road From Cargenwyn Reservoir To Junction Leading To Cargenwyn Farm, Lower Cargenwyn for its entire length and Black Rock, Camborne between the junction of Lower Cargenwyn and the property named The Old Chapel.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 21st April 2025 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Breage.

This prohibition is necessary for works to provide new water connection and it is expected that the closure will be from 6th May 2025 to 9th May 2025.

The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekdays only. Road affected - Trew, Breage from near the junction to Road From Trew To Wheal Vor to near to property known as The Barn.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 21st April 2025 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned lengths of road in Stithians.

This prohibition is necessary for poling works and it is expected that the closure will be from 8th May 2025 for one day. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0930 and 1530, weekdays only.

Roads affected - Road From Penhalvean To Treweege Cottages, Penhalvean, Redruth and Road From Treweege Cottages To Junction At Trethellan And Trewithan, Treweege, Stithians for their entire lengths. An alternative route will be signed on site.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 21st April 2025 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Porthleven. This prohibition is necessary for poling works and it is expected that the closure will be from 8th May 2025 to 9th May 2025.

The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0830 and 1530, weekdays only. Road affected - Unity Road, Porthleven between the junctions of Thomas Terrace and Sunset Drive.
