What is happening?
ABERDEENSHIRE COUNCIL
C60B/U61B - TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
“The Aberdeenshire Council (C60B and U61B – 28.04.25) (Temporary Closure to Vehicular Traffic) Order, 2025” has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984.
The order will operate from 28.04.25 for 10 days and will prohibit any person from driving on the following roads:
C60B from the A90 to the U60B
U61B from the C60B to the C38B
Access will be provided for emergency and vehicles requiring access to properties but may be subject to delay until the road is cleared of construction plant to allow safe passage through the works.
The temporary restriction is necessary in the interests of public safety owing to access for the provision of fibre cabling. An alternative route is available via the C60B, C56B, C38B, A90 and vice versa.
