ST HELENS BOROUGH COUNCIL

THE COUNCIL OF ST HELENS (VARIOUS ROADS) (60MPH SPEED LIMIT) (CONSOLIDATION) (REVOCATION) ORDER 2025

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on 15th April 2025, St Helens Borough Council in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers, and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III Schedule 9 of the aforesaid Act, made an Order to consolidate its existing Traffic Regulation Orders in so far as they relate to 60mph speed limits.

The effect of the Order will be that all Traffic Regulations in respect of 60mph speed limits will be contained in a single Order. This Order is not designed to change the effect of any existing Regulations and will come into operation on 21st April 2025.

A copy of the Order, including the Schedules to the Order, may be requested via traffic@sthelens.gov.uk or contact 01744 676398 to make an appointment to view relevant documents at the Town Hall Customer Hub.
