What is happening?

Temporary Prohibition of Pedestrians, Public Footpath 05.31/28/1 Lothersdale, Order 2024 No 419
Notice is hereby given that the above Order, the effect of which is to prohibit any public access along Public Footpath 05.31/28/1 in the Parish of Lothersdale between grid reference SD96014586 & SD96364556 due to erosion by adjacent watercourse has been continued in force for a further 12 months until 21/04/26 or until the completion of the works (whichever is the earlier), under Section 15(3) of the above Act with the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport. The further continuation of the closure will be put into effect by notices & signs. Temporary Prohibition of Traffic, Various Roads In The Skipton Area, Order 2025, No. 138
We intend to make this Order to prohibit any vehicle from using Flat Lane, Long Preston; Langstrothdale Road, Buckden; Belle Hill, Giggleswick; Winterscale Road, Ribblehead; Abbey Hill, Winterburn; Twisleton Lane, Ingleton; Chapel Lane, Winterburn; Kail Lane, Thorpe; Thore Lane, Thorpe; The Bailey, Skipton; Dodgson Street, Thornton in Craven; Main Road, Thorpe; Stainforth Road to Holme head, Langcliffe; Winskill Road, Langcliffe; Barnoldswick Lane, Burton in Lonsdale; Gordale Lane, Malham; Philpin Lane, Chapel Le Dale; Back Lane, Hebden; Church Lane, Hebden; Oddies Lane, Ingleton; Craven Street, Skipton; Cavendish Street, Skipton; Moor Lane, Threshfield; Storiths Lane, Beamsley; Sidegate Lane, Lothersdale; Raines Road, Giggleswick; Church Street, Giggleswick; Calton lane, Calton; Hall Brow, Calton; Bolland Lane, Thorpe; Bankwell Road, Giggleswick; Winterburn Lane, Winterburn; Netherghyll Lane, Cononley; Lane Ends Lane, Cowling; Old Lane, Cowling; Hills Lane, Winterburn & Norton View Farm to Croft House, Hetton for temporary periods of between 1 & 5 days on up to 4 occasions at each location (subject to access to premises) between 05/05/25 & 31/10/25, due to surface dressing works. Pedestrian access to premises will be maintained at all time and vehicular access will be maintained whenever possible. The closure period will be indicated by traffic signs & a local alternative route will be signed on site where appropriate. Temporary Prohibition of Traffic, Cross Streets Hotel to Paley Green Lane, Lawkland, Order 2025, No. 142
We intend to make this Order to prohibit any vehicle from using Cross Streets Hotel to Paley Green Lane, Lawkland for a temporary period (subject to access to premises) between 06/05/25 & 08/06/25, due to Yorkshire Water works to install a new water main. However, the max duration of this Order is until 06/08/25. The closure period will be indicated by traffic signs & a local alternative route will be signed on site where appropriate. Temporary Prohibition of Parking, Brawby Lane, Brawby, Order 2025 No 144
North Yorkshire Council intends to make this Order to prohibit any vehicle from parking on Brawby Lane, Brawby due to carriageway patching works. It is envisaged that the restriction will be in force from 30/04/25 until 30/04/25 inclusive, however the max duration of this Order will be until 30/05/25. The restriction period will only apply as indicated by the placing of traffic signs.
