What is happening?
ABERDEENSHIRE COUNCIL
STONEHAVEN – PROHIBITION OF WAITING
Aberdeenshire Council proposes to make “The Aberdeenshire Council (Seasonal Bus Parking Market Square, Stonehaven) Order 2025” under the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984.
The effect of the order will be to introduce a no waiting ‘at any time’ restriction between 30 April and 1 October on Market Square, Stonehaven - North side from a point 9 metres east of the extended east kerbline of Barclay Street eastwards for a distance of 27 metres. The restriction will not apply to visiting buses who will get priority parking on this section of road. If the parking section is free of buses the Stonehaven Land Train will be permitted to pick up and drop off at the location. Anyone wishing to object should send details of the grounds for objection in writing to the undersigned or via the above website from 18 April 2025 until 9 May 2025.
