What is happening?
Temporary Road Closure – Popham Lane, North Waltham, Basingstoke & Deane
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council has made an order under S.14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: That part of Popham Lane between its junction with Church Road and its junction with A30.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Popham Lane, Yew Tree Road, Up Street, Maidenthorn Lane, Winchester Road.
DURATION OF ORDER: From Tuesday 22nd April 2025 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than Tuesday 29th April and this order will be operation 24 hours a day.
The Temporary Road Closure has been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate works for Connect IT Utilities Services to access underground cabling safely. If there are any queries or enquires regarding this Order please contact: nrswa@cius.co.uk
