What is happening?
Temporary Road Closure – Fifth Avenue, Havant
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council has made an order under S.14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: That part of Fifth Avenue between its junction with Southleigh Road and its junction with Poppy Way.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Poppy Way, Daffodil Way, Blenheim Gardens.
DURATION OF ORDER: From Tuesday 22nd April 2025 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than Monday 19th May 2025 and this order will be in operation 24 hours a day).
