Kent County Council, acting in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, makes or intends to make the following Orders.
SEVENOAKS AREA
B2027 Chequers Hill & Tonbridge Road, Bough Beech, TN8 7PF (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
Because of pole testing, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of B2027 Chequers Hill and Tonbridge Road, Bough Beech, on or after 18th May 2025 for up to 1 day between 09.30hrs and 15.30hrs or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed between Bore Place and Mill Lane.
The alternative route is via B2027 Chequers Hill, B2027 Tonbridge Road, B2027 Penshurst Road, B2027 High Street, B2027 Hildenborough Road, B2027 Stocks Green Road, B2027 Leigh Road, B245 Tonbridge Road, B245 London Road, Morleys Roundabout, A225 Riverhill, A225 Tonbridge Road, A225 High Street, A224 London Road, A224 Amherst Hill, A25 Worships Hill, A25 Westerham Road, A25 Main Road, A25 High Street, A25 Westerham Road, B2026 Hosey Hill, B2026 Hosey Common Road, B269 Main Road, B269 Spout Lane, B269 Pootings Road, B2027 Bough Beech Road, B2027 Clinton Lane, B2027 Chequers Hill and vice versa.
Billet Hill, Ash, TN15 7HH (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
To replace one decayed telegraph pole, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Billet Hill, Ash, on or after 29th April 2025 for up to 2 days between 08.00hrs and 17.00hrs or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside High Bank.
The alternative route is via Ash Road, Hartley Road, B260 Main Road, Fawkham Road, Valley Road, Fawkham Green Road and vice versa.
Bradbourne Road, Sevenoaks, TN13 3QA (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
To access a manhole to carry out cabling work, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Bradbourne Road, Sevenoaks, on or after 12th May 2025 for up to 1 day between 09.30hrs and 15.30hrs or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed between number 2 and A225 Dartford Road.
The alternative route is via Bradbourne Road, Amherst Road, A225 St Johns Road and vice versa.
Coldharbour Road, Penshurst, TN11 8EU (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
Because of South East Water works, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Coldharbour Road, Penshurst, on or after 29th April 2025 for up to 3 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside The Bottle House Inn.
The alternative route is via Coldharbour Road, Smarts Hill, B2188 New Road/Fordcombe Road, Grove Road, Finch Green and vice versa.
Five Fields Lane, Four Elms, TN8 6LT (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
To allow a CCTV unit to carry out a post repair survey of the foul sewer, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Five Fields Lane, Four Elms, on or after 15th May 2025 for up to 2 days between 09.00hrs and 16.30hrs or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside Polands Cottage.
The alternative route is via B2027 Four Elms Road, B2027 Bough Beech Road, B2027 Clinton Lane and vice versa.
High Street, Shoreham, TN14 7SN (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
Because of UK Power Networks works, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of High Street, Shoreham, on or after 28th April 2025 for up to 1 day or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside number 4.
The alternative route is via High Street, Church Street, Station Road, A225 Shoreham Road, Castle Road, Redmans Lane, Castle Farm Road and vice versa.
Hilders Lane, Edenbridge, TN8 6LG (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
Because of drainage works to prevent flooding, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Hilders Lane, Edenbridge, on or after 28th April 2025 for up to 12 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside Hazeldene Cottage.
The alternative route is via Hilders Lane, B2026 Main Road/Station Road/Mont St Aignan Way, Stangrove Road, Crouch House Road, Little Browns Lane and vice versa.
Mill Lane, Underriver, TN15 0SD (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
Because of South East Water works, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Mill Lane, Underriver, on or after 12th May 2025 for up to 3 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside Brook Cottage.
The alternative route is via Mill Lane, Carters Hill, Park Lane, Blackhall Lane, B2019 Seal Hollow Road, A225 High Street/Tonbridge Road/Riverhill, B245 London Road and vice versa.
New Road, Sundridge, TN14 6DJ (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
Because of a pole test, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of New Road, Sundridge, on or after 12th May 2025 for up to 1 day between 09.30hrs and 15.30hrs or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed near Birchfield Farm.
The alternative route is via New Road, A25 Main Road, Church Road and vice versa.
Oak Farm Lane, Fairseat, TN15 7JU (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
Because of SGN works, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Oak Farm Lane, Fairseat, on or after 12th May 2025 for up to 5 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside Tall Trees.
The alternative route is via Hodsoll Street, A227 Gravesend Road and vice versa.
Riverside, Eynsford, DA4 0HD (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
To investigate possible concrete saddle over Eynsford Bridge, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Riverside, Eynsford, on or after 29th April 2025 for up to 1 day between 10.00hrs an 14.00hrs or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed at Eynsford Bridge.
The alternative route is via Sparepenny Lane, High Street, A225 Eynsford Road, A225 High Street and vice versa.
Telston Lane, Otford, TN14 5JH (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
Because of a new electricity supply, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Telston Lane, Otford, on or after 12th May 2025 for up to 5 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed at the junction with Pilgrims Way West.
The alternative route is via Pilgrims Way West, Rye Lane, Willow Park, Telston Lane and vice versa.
