Kent County Council, acting in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, makes or intends to make the following Orders.
MAIDSTONE AREA
B2010 High Street, Yalding, ME18 6HY (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
To allow 80th Anniversary VE Day street party to be held, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of B2010 High Street, Yalding, on or after 4th May 2025 for up to 1 day or until the event has been completed.
The road will be closed between the junctions of B2162 Benover Road and Vicarage Road, between the hours of 12:00 and 23:59 only. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
Alternative route (1) for any through traffic is via Vicarage Road, Mill Lane, B2162 Benover Road and vice versa.
Alternative route (2) for any through traffic is via B2162 Benover Road, B2162 Hampstead Lane, B2015 Maidstone Road, Bow Bridge, Bow Hill, Kenward Road and vice versa.
Church Lane, Bicknor, ME9 8BJ (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
To allow water chamber exchange works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Church Lane, Bicknor, on or after 29th April 2025 for up to 4 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside Hawthorns. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Kennel Barn Road, Hazel Street, Admiral Road, Church Lane and vice versa.
Cox Street, Detling, ME14 3HD (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
To allow pole replacement works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Cox Street, Detling, on or after 30th April 2025 for up to 2 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside Reed’s Wood. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Scragged Oak Road, White Hill Road, Cox Street and vice versa.
Cox Street, Stockbury, ME9 7UX (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
To allow pole replacement works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Cox Street, Stockbury, on or after 1st May 2025 for up to 2 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside Woodpeckers. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Magpie Lane, Yaugher Lane, Yelsted Road, Yelsted Lane, Cox Street and vice versa.
Forge Lane & Chapel Lane, Bredhurst, ME7 3JR (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
To allow fibre cable installation works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Forge Lane & Chapel Lane, Bredhurst, on or after 2nd May 2025 for up to 7 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed from Dunn Street Road to property The Haven, between the hours of 08:00 and 18:00 only. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Dunn Street Road, Dunn Street, Lidsing Road, Forge Lane and vice versa.
Furfield Chase, Boughton Monchelsea, ME17 4GB (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
To allow manhole replacement works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Furfield Chase, Boughton Monchelsea, on or after 1st May 2025 for up to 2 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed from the junction of Thomas Rider Way, between the hours of 19:00 and 06:00 only. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
There is no alternative route for any through traffic and access will be maintained when it is safe to do so.
Haste Hill Road, Boughton Monchelsea, ME17 4LN (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
To allow pole replacement works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Haste Hill Road, Boughton Monchelsea, on or after 16th May 2025 for up to 4 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed from property number 47c to 55. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Haste Hill Road, The Green, Church Street, B2163 Heath Road, Hubbards Lane, Haste Hill Road and vice versa.
Hill Green Road, Stockbury (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
To allow pole testing works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Hill Green Road, Stockbury, on or after 28th April 2025 for up to 1 day or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside Orchard Dene, between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 only. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Cradles Road, Lower Hartlip Road, Yelsted Road, Hill Green Road and vice versa.
Lidsing Road, Lidsing, ME7 3NH (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
To allow fibre cable installation works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Lidsing Road, Lidsing, on or after 28th April 2025 for up to 4 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed from the junction of Old Lidsing Road to the junction of Forge Lane, between the hours of 08:00 and 18:00 only. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic approaching on Lidsing Road is via Lidsing Road, Dunn Street, Dunn Street Road, Forge Lane and vice versa.
The alternative route for any through traffic approaching from Westfield Sole Road is via Westfield Sole Road, Walderslade Woods, Boxley Road, Yelsted Lane, Lidsing Road and vice versa.
Mill Street, Loose, ME15 0ED (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
To allow drainage improvement works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Mill Street, Loose, on or after 30th April 2025 for up to 1 day or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed between the junctions of Busbridge Road and Bridge Street. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Bridge Street, Church Street, High Banks, Mill Street and vice versa.
Pilgrims Way, Hollingbourne, ME17 1QY (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
To allow cable installation works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Pilgrims Way, Hollingbourne, on or after 12th May 2025 for up to 14 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside Brushings Cottage. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Pilgrims Way, Coldblow Lane, Rumstead Lane, Hook Lane, Church Road, Broad Street Hill and vice versa.
Salts Lane, Boughton Monchelsea (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
To allow blockage clearance works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Salts Lane, Boughton Monchelsea, on or after 28th April 2025 for up to 3 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside Salts Farm Cottages. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Salts Lane, Old Loose Hill, A229 Linton Road, B2163 Heath Road, Hubbards Lane, Slats Lane and vice versa.
Whitehall Road, Thurnham (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
To allow pole testing works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Whitehall Road, Thurnham, on or after 2nd May 2025 for up to 1 day or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside Whitehall, between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 only. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
There is no alternative route for any through traffic and access will be maintained when it is safe to do so.
White Hill Road, Bredhurst, ME14 3HN (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
To allow ducting installation works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of White Hill Road, Bredhurst, on or after 5th May 2025 for up to 19 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed from the junction of Kemsley Street Road and Scragged Oak Road, between the hours of 08:00 and 18:00 only. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via White Hill Road, Cox Street, Magpie Lane, Yaugher Lane, Matts Hill, Matts Hill Lane, Matts Hill Road and vice versa.
