Gravesham, Multiple Temporary Traffic Regulation Notices
What is happening?
Highways
Kent County Council, acting in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, makes or intends to make the following Orders.
Gravesham Area
Hamerton Road, Northfleet, DA11 9DU (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
Because of Southern Water works, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Hamerton Road, Northfleet, on or after 28th April 2025 for up to 5 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside number 14.
The alternative route is via Hamerton Road, Station Road, B2175 High Street/Stonebridge Road and vice versa.
Northfleet Green, Northfleet, DA13 9PT (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
Because of UK Power Networks works, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Northfleet Green, Northfleet, on or after 28th April 2025 for up to 5 days between 08.00hrs and 16.00hrs or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside Gingerbread Cottage.
The alternative route is via Northfleet Green, New Barn Road, Broad Ditch Road, Downs Road and vice versa.
Victoria Road, Northfleet, DA11 7DF (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
Because of Southern Water works, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Victoria Road, Northfleet, on or after 12th May 2025 for up to 5 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside Tolhurst House.
The alternative route is via Pelham Road South, B261 Old Road West, Victoria Road and vice versa.
Windmill Street, Gravesend, DA12 1LQ (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
Because of to undertake pipe replacement works, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Windmill Street, Gravesend, on or after 28th April 2025 for up to 5 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside number 90B.
The alternative route is via B261 Old Road East, Parrock Road, Parrock Street, A226 Lord Street and A226 Windmill Street.
