Cumberland, Temporary Road Closures Due To Utility Works
What is happening?
CUMBERLAND COUNCIL (U2211 AND U2I97 MOCKERKIN, U2195 BRANDLINGILL AND U2I94 DEANSCALES) (TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that to enable utility works to be carried out ("the Works"), Cumberland Council intends to make an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along the lengths of road specified in the attached Schedule.
Suitable diversion routes will be indicated on site by the display of relevant traffic signs as and when the temporary closures are in force. A way for pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will be maintained at all times.

The Order will come into operation on 5 May 2025 and may continue in force for a maximum duration of eighteen months. However, please note that it is anticipated that the restrictions will only be required for as stated in the schedule and only as and when the relevant traffic signs are displayed.

EXTENT OF RESTRICTIONS AND ALTERNATIVE ROUTES
1. U2211 Mockerkin - from 5 May 2025 for approx. 5 days (Ref: TTROC/13997)
From its junction with the C2030 to its junction with the A5086.
Alternative Route: via the A5086 and the C2030.
2. U2197 Mockerkin - from 12 May 2025 for approx. 5 days (Ref: TTROC/14012)
From its junction with the A5086 to its junction with Sosgil Road.
Alternative Route: via the unrestricted section of the U2197, C2030 and the A5086.
3. U2195 Brandlingill - from 19 May 2025 for approx. 5 days (Ref: TTROC/14020)
From its junction with the C2027 to its junction with Milk Lane.
Alternative Route: via the unrestricted section of the U2195, U2194, A5086 and the C2027.
4. U2194, Deanscales - from 26 May 2025 for approx. 5 days (Ref: TTROC/14021)
From its junction with the U2195 to its junction with the A5086.
Alternative Route: via the A5086, U2198, U2199 and U2195.
