Wiltshire - Multiple Temporary Road Closures due to Maintenance Works

SECTION 14(1) OF THE ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984

Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council intends to make Orders to close temporarily to all traffic:

A) Hatchet Hill, Chute; from its junction with Hookwood Lane to its junction with C262 to enable Wiltshire Council to carry out urgent road safety works. Alternative route via C262 — C263 — A342 — Appleshaw — Hookwood Lane and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 12 May 2025 and the closure will be required between the hours of 09:00 and 15:30 for 5 days. B) B3083 (Part), Berwick St James; from outside its property known as The Flat Goose for a distance of approximately 50m in a 50m in a south easterly direction to enable Wiltshire Council to carry out reconstruction works on the bridge. Alternative route via B3083 (unaffected length) – A36 – A303 – B3083 (unaffected length) and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 12 May 2025 and the closure will be required between the hours of 08:00 and 17:00 until 18 July 2025. Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made Orders to close temporarily to all traffic:

C) C321 (Part), Grimstead, Pitton and Farley; from its junction with C289 to its junction with C331 to enable Wiltshire Council to carry out verge overrun repairs and associated works. Alternative route via C331 — C289 and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 22 April 2025 and the closure will be required between the hours of 07:30 and 17:00 until 25 April 2025. D) UC 902101 (Part), Donhead St Mary; from its junction with A30 to its junction with UC 892101 to enable Openreach to carry out pole and associated works. Alternative route via UC 902101 (unaffected length) – UC 912101 – UC 902026 – A30 and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 21 April 2025 and the closure will be required between the hours of 09:00 and 16:00 for 1 day. E) Rambridge Crescent (Part), Salisbury; from its property known as No.06 Rambridge Crescent to its property known as No.34 Rambridge Crescent to enable Wiltshire Council to carry out resurfacing and associated works. Alternative route via Rambridge Crescent (unaffected length) – Westwood Road and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 22 April 2025 and the closure will be required between the hours of 09:00 and 16:00 for 1 day. Orders (A to E) will have a maximum duration of 18 months. The closures and diversion routes will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works.
