Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (RTRA 1984)
Temporary Speed Restriction Order 2025
Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above order in exercise of its powers under section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to impose a temporary speed restriction of 40 MPH over an area of highway being B3254 Between Tremarsh And Ladycross, Launceston between grid references SX 31559 88470 and SX 31795 88407 for approximately 252 metres.
The Council is satisfied that the Order is needed because works are being executed on or near the road pole replacement and pole testing works.
The Order will come into operation on 22nd May 2025 and the works are expected to be completed by the 23rd May 2025. The restriction will be in force between the hours of 0930 and 1530 on a daily basis, weekdays only.

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025
Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Launceston.
This prohibition is necessary for jetting and cabling works and it is expected that the closure will be from 25th May 2025, for one day. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0930 and 1530, weekdays only.
Road affected - Chapel Hill, Launceston for its entire length.

This prohibition is necessary for pole replacement works and it is expected that the closure will be from 21st May 2025 to 22nd May 2025. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0830 and 1530, weekdays only.
Road affected - Copthorne Road, North Petherwin, Launceston between grid references SX 26978 93688 and SX 26651 92526.

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025
Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 21st April 2025 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Bude.
This prohibition is necessary for pole replacement and pole testing works and it is expected that the closure will be from 9th May 2025, for one day. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0930 and 1530, weekdays only.
Road affected - Road From The County Boundary To Diddies Road, Launcells, Bude between the junction of Diddies Road and grid reference SS 26147 07751.

Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (RTRA 1984)
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2014
Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council is under the above Order dated 19th November 2014 continuing to prohibit the use by traffic over an area of highway being Footpath 1 in the Parish of Morwenstow between grid references SS 19986:11877 and SS 19941:11652.
The Order which commenced on the 20th November 2014 and is currently in force for up to six months will now continue until the 30th April 2026. The continuance of this Order, which was to have expired on the 30th April 2025 has been approved by the Secretary of State for Transport. The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekends included.
The Council is satisfied that this further restriction is necessary owing to engineering difficulties and the Order is needed because of the likelihood of danger to the public due to cliff subsidence and instability.
Nothing in this Order will apply to traffic associated with the works required within the highway specified above, any vehicle being used for the purposes of an undertaker in an emergency, such as loss of utility supplies and anything done with the permission of or at the discretion of a police officer.

(Road From Marine Drive To Coppathorne, Widemouth Bay) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025
Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Widemouth Bay.
This prohibition is necessary for pole recovery works and it is expected that the closure will be from 20th May 2025, for one day. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0830 and 1530, weekdays only.
Road affected - Road From Marine Drive To Coppathorne, Widemouth Bay between grid reference SS 20291 01043 and the junction with the A39.

This prohibition is necessary for pole replacement works and it is expected that the closure will be from 23rd May 2025, for one day. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0830 and 1530, weekdays only.
Road affected - Road From Tamerton Hill To The Grove, Holsworthy between the junctions Access to Alvacott and Access to Eastcott Farm.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 21st April 2025 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Bude.
This prohibition is necessary for ducting and blockage clearing works and it is expected that the closure will be from 6th May 2025 to 12th May 2025. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0730 and 1800, weekends included.
Road affected - Union Hill, Stratton, Bude for its entire length.
