Wood Lane - Introduce At Any Time Waiting Restrictions
What is happening?
ON BOROUGH OF HAMMERSMITH AND FULHAM ROAD
TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14(1) (WOOD LANE)
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC
1. The Council of the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham hereby gives notice that in order to facilitate works to the highway in the above-named location; it made an Order the effect of which will temporarily prohibit traffic and introduce “at any time” waiting restrictions in a section of the abovenamed road.
2. Whilst works are in progress, or whilst the authorised traffic signs are displayed, no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed to enter and travel in Wood Lane in a northbound direction between the junctions of Uxbridge Road to the junction with the A40
3. An alternative route for traffic in article 2 shall be provided via Uxbridge Road, A3220, South Africa Road and Bloemfontein Road.
4. Exemptions will be provided in the Order to permit reasonable access to premises, so far as it is practical without interference with the execution of the said work and for works vehicles, any vehicle being used in connection with police, fire or ambulance purposes and anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform.
5. The Order will come into operation on the 28th April 2025 and will be valid for a maximum period of 18 months or until works are completed, whichever is the sooner.
6. Works will commence on Monday 28th April 2025 and last until 1st May 2025. The dates specified are for guidance and informative purposes only and works may extend outside these dates.
