TEMPORARY ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 (AS AMENDED)
Notice is hereby given that the City Council has made the following Temporary Road Traffic Order(s):
ORDER NO. MCC142763936: The City of Manchester (Hardman Street, Deansgate Ward)(Temporary Prohibition of Vehicular Traffic) Order 2025 under s14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
The effect of the Order is to prohibit vehicular traffic on Hardman Street from Byrom Street to Deansgate. The alternative routes for traffic will be: Deansgate, Quay Street, Byrom Street & Byrom Street, Quay Street, Peter Street, Southmill Street, Lloyd Street.
The City Council is satisfied that this prohibition is necessary in order to facilitate a crane. It is expected that the works will be in progress from 23rd April 2025 to 24th April 2025 between the hours of 20:00 and 06:00. The order shall come into operation on 23rd April 2025 and may remain in force for a maximum period of eighteen months.
