The A38 Trunk Road (Manadon) (Temporary Prohibition Of Traffic) Order 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that National Highways Limited (a) has made an Order on the A38 trunk road in the County of Devon to allow surveys and associated maintenance works to be carried out in safety.
The works are expected to take place overnight (20.00 to 06.00) commencing on or after 22 April 2025 and be completed by 26 June 2025.
The effect of the Order will be to authorise the closure of:
(a) the A38 eastbound from St Budeaux Junction to Manadon Junction;
(b) the A38 eastbound between the exit and entry slip roads at Manadon Junction;
(c) the A38 westbound from Forder Valley Junction to Manadon Junction;
(d) the eastbound entry slip road at St Budeaux Junction
(e) the A38 eastbound exit and westbound entry and exit slip roads at Manadon Junction.
During the closures traffic will be diverted via junctions of the A38 and local roads. The closures (which will not apply to emergency services or works vehicles), and diversion route will be clearly indicated by traffic signs throughout the works.
The Order will come into force on 20 April 2025 and have a maximum duration of 18 months.

The A38 Trunk Road (Menheniot) (Temporary Restriction And Prohibition Of Traffic) Order 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that National Highways Limited (a) has made an Order on the A38 trunk road in the County of Cornwall to allow resurfacing and associated maintenance works to be carried out in safety.
The works are expected to take place overnight (20.00 to 06.00) commencing on or after 22 April 2025 and be completed by 30 April 2025.
The effect of the Order will be:
(a) to impose a mandatory 50 mph speed limit on the A38 eastbound from 498 metres west of Lean Quarry Junction to 1090 metres east of Lower Clicker Junction;
(b) to impose a mandatory 30 mph speed limit on the length of the A38 given at (a) above;
(c) to impose a mandatory 10 mph speed limit on the length of the A38 given at (a) above whilst convoy working is taking place;
(d) authorise the closure of the eastbound entry and exit slip roads at Lower Clicker Junction;
(e) authorise the closure of the gaps in the central reservation and the laybys adjacent to the length of the A38 given at (a) above.
During the closures, traffic will be diverted via junctions of the A38 and local roads.
The closures (which will not apply to emergency services, traffic officer or works vehicles) speed limits, and diversion routes will be clearly indicated by traffic signs throughout the works.
The Order will come into force on 20 April 2025 and have a maximum duration of 18 months.
