Mae Cyngor Sir Dinas a Sir Caerdydd, wrth arfer ei bwerau dan Adran 14(1) Deddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd 1984 (fel y’i diwygiwyd), a’r holl bwerau galluogi eraill, yn bwriadu, mewn dim llai na saith niwrnod o ddyddiad yr Hysbysiad hwn, gwneud Gorchymyn a fydd yn atal cerbydau rhag defnyddio neu barhau ar hyd y darnau o ffordd a nodir yn yr Atodlen isod.

Mae angen y Gorchymyn i hwyluso gwaith ar neu ger y briffordd a disgwylir iddo ddod i rym yn ystod y dyddiadau a nodir yn yr Atodlen isod. Gall y cyfyngiad fod mewn grym am gyfnod hirach na’r hyn a bennir nes bod y gwaith wedi’i gwblhau.

Dim ond ar yr adegau ac i’r graddau a nodir ar arwyddion a/neu hysbysiadau sy’n cael eu harddangos y bydd y cyfyngiad dan sylw ar waith. Bydd y Gorchymyn yn parhau ar waith am hyd at 18 mis.

TEMPORARY TRAFFIC PROPOSAL
THE COUNTY COUNCIL OF THE CITY AND COUNTY OF CARDIFF (STRATHNAIRN STREET, CARDIFF) (TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2025

The County Council of the City and County of Cardiff in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended), and of all other enabling powers intends in not less than 7 days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the general effect of which is to prevent any vehicles from using or proceeding along the lengths of road specified in the below Schedule.

The Order is necessary to facilitate works on or near to the highway and is expected to be in operation during the dates specified in the Schedule below. The restriction may be in force for longer than specified until works are complete.

The restriction specified will only have the effect at such times and to such extent as indicated by the display of signs and/or notices. The Order will remain in force for a maximum of 18 months.

The Order will be known as “The County Council of the City and County of Cardiff (Strathnairn Street, Cardiff) (Temporary Road Closure) Order 2025”.

SCHEDULE

From Monday 28th April 2025 until Sunday 8th June 2025

• Strathnairn Street from its junction with Plasnewydd Road to its junction with Cottrell Road

The alternative route for vehicles affected by the above closure will be via Cottrell Road, Keppoch Street and Plasnewydd Road

From Monday 9th June 2025 until Sunday 13th July 2025

• Strathnairn Street from its junction with City Road to its junction with Plasnewydd Road

The alternative route for vehicles affected by the above closure will be via Plasnewydd Road, Keppoch Street and City Road
