Ar 16 Ebrill 2025, gwnaeth Cyngor Sir Dinas a Sir Caerdydd, wrth arfer ei bwerau dan Adran 14(1) Deddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd 1984 (fel y’i diwygiwyd) a’r holl bwerau galluogi eraill, Orchymyn a fydd yn atal unrhyw gerbyd rhag defnyddio neu yrru ar hyd Plasnewydd Road o’r gyffordd â Strathnairn Street i’r gyffordd â Glenroy Street.
Mae’r Gorchymyn hwn yn angenrheidiol i hwyluso gwaith ar y briffordd neu gerllaw, a disgwylir iddo ddod i rym ddydd Sadwrn 19 Ebrill 2025 a pharhau mewn grym tan ddydd Sul 27 Ebrill 2025 neu nes i’r gwaith gael ei gwblhau.
Dim ond ar yr adegau ac i’r graddau a nodir ar arwyddion a/neu hysbysiadau sy’n cael eu harddangos y bydd y cyfyngiad dan sylw ar waith. Bydd y Gorchymyn yn parhau ar waith am hyd at 18 mis.
Bydd y llwybr amgen ar gyfer cerbydau fydd ar hyd Strathnairn Street, Cottrell Road a Glenroy Steet.
Enw’r Gorchymyn fydd “Gorchymyn Cyngor Sir Dinas a Sir Caerdydd (Plasnewydd Street, Caerdydd) (Cau Ffordd Dros Dro) 2025”.

THE COUNTY COUNCIL OF THE CITY AND COUNTY OF CARDIFF
(PLASNEWYDD ROAD, CARDIFF) (TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2025
On the 16th April 2025, The County Council of the City and County of Cardiff in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended), and of all other enabling powers, made an Order the general effect of which is to prevent any vehicle from using or proceeding along Plasnewydd Road from its junction with Strathnairn Street to its junction with Glenroy Street.
This Order is necessary to facilitate works on or near to the highway and will come into operation on Saturday 19th April 2025 and is expected to be in operation until Sunday 27th April 2025 or until works are complete.
The restriction specified will only have the effect at such times and to such extent as indicated by the display of signs and/or notices. The Order will remain in force for a maximum of 18 months.
The alternative route for vehicles affected by this closure will be via Strathnairn Street, Cottrell Road and Glenroy Steet.
This Order is known as “The County Council of The City and County of Cardiff (Plasnewydd Street, Cardiff) (Temporary Road Closure) Order 2025”.
