The reason for the said closure is to enable maintenance to telecommunications equipment.

The reason for the said closure is for excavation works in the carriageway to an existing gully and embankment for the Redcliffe Homes site.

The said road is expected to be closed and restricted from 08:00hrs on 5th May 2025 until 17:00hrs on 18th May 2025 only or until the works have been completed.

NOTICE is hereby given that Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, intends to make an Order to close temporarily under Sections 14, 15 and 16 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 (as amended) part of Public Footpath CHP 22 from its junction with Public Footpath CHP 21 in a generally southerly direction for approximately 540 metres to its junction with Evesham Road and shown on the Map by a bold solid black line marked A to B.

The said public footpath falls within Prestbury Parish in Cheltenham Borough, within the County of Gloucestershire.

The said closure is necessary to safeguard the public whilst construction works take place.

The said Public Footpath is expected to be closed between 6th May 2025 and 6th November 2025 where the presence of approved signage will indicate whether the closure is in force.

Further advance warnings of dates/times will be displayed on site 2 weeks prior to any closure taking effect.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE AND RESTRICTION A46 STROUD ROAD (PAINSWICK PARISH) (STROUD DISTRICT)

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the A46 Stroud Road from its junction with ‘Edge Road’ to its junction with ‘Stamages Lane’ for a distance of approximately 152 metres (the Road) The reason for the closure is for reasons of public safety linked to defects in the Highway.

There will be no stopping, waiting or loading permitted throughout the duration of the works.

The road was originally closed for 5 days by Notice which commenced on the 10th April 2025.

It was not possible to complete the works during the 5 days and it has now been necessary to make an Order. This Order can close the road for up to 18 months from the date of the notice, or until the works have been completed.
