What is happening?

CHESHIRE WEST AND CHESTER BOROUGH COUNCIL

NOTICE OF PROPOSAL

PTRO809 – Shipbrook Road, Rudheath (40 MPH SPEED LIMIT ORDER 2025)

Notice is hereby given that the Cheshire West and Chester Borough Council propose to make an Order under Section 84 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and of all other enabling powers:

  1. The effect of the order will be to introduce a reduced speed limit on Shipbrook Road, Rudheath.

  2. Full details showing the proposals are contained in the draft order which, together with a map showing the affected area; the Council’s statement of reasons for making the order and a copy of this notice, may be examined, if people wish to view further details of the PTRO they should e mail the area highways team at highways@cheshirewestandchester.gov.uk to arrange.

  3. All objections and other representations relating to the Order must be made in writing and objections must specify the grounds on which they are made, to the undersigned quoting reference PTRO 809 by 12th May 2025.

Shipbrook Road – From its junction with the A556 Shurlach Road to the existing 20mph speed limit (near to the railway bridge)

PTRO 808 – Clive Back Lane, Winsford (40 MPH SPEED LIMIT ORDER 2025)

Notice is hereby given that the Cheshire West and Chester Borough Council propose to make an Order under Section 84 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and of all other enabling powers:

  1. The effect of the order will be to introduce a reduced speed limit on Clive Back Lane, Winsford. The new proposed limit is set out in the Schedule below.

  2. Full details showing the proposals are contained in the draft order which, together with a map showing the affected area; the Council’s statement of reasons for making the order and a copy of this notice, may be examined during usual office hours at the following offices:

    • Winsford Area Highways Office, Browning Way, Woodford Park, Winsford, CW7 2RB.

  3. All objections and other representations relating to the Order must be made in writing and objections must specify the grounds on which they are made, to the undersigned quoting reference PTRO 808 by 12th May 2025.

Clive Back Lane – from its junction with Clive Green Lane for its entire extent.
