Marsh Lane - Temporary Road Closure For Sewer Re-Lining Works

Temporary Closure of Marsh Lane
Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along Marsh Lane - from 241 metres east of the junction with Mulberry Lane, eastwards for a total distance of 70 metres.
This Order will enable Wessex Water to carry out sewer re-lining works.
The Order becomes effective on 1st May 2025 and will remain in force for 18 months.
The works are expected to commence on 5th May 2025 and last until 9th May 2025 between the hours of 08:00 - 22:00 for a total of 5 days.
