ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984: SECTION 14(1)
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC ORDER 2025
ALEXANDRA ROAD, WOBURN ROAD, CONDUIT ROAD BEDFORD 25 - 019
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Bedford Borough Council intend not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle, except a vehicle being used for fire, police or ambulance purposes in an emergency, from proceeding along Alexandra Road, Woburn Road, Conduit Road Bedford.
This temporary road closure is required to facilitate re surfacing carriageway and shall apply to such extent as may from time to time be indicated by the appropriate traffic signs.
This temporary road closure is anticipated to be in operation 08:00 to 18:00 hours from 12th May 2025 to 22nd May 2025
The signed alternative route for vehicles affected by the order is available via Div 1 Midland Road, Ashburnham Road, Bromham Road, Conduit Road Div 2 Bromham Road, Hassett Street, Greyfriars, Midland Road.
The proposed Order will come into operation on 12th May 2025, for a period of 12 months or until the proposed works have been completed, as detailed

ROXTON ROAD, GREAT BARFORD 25 - 015
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Bedford Borough Council intend not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle, except a vehicle being used for fire, police or ambulance purposes in an emergency, from proceeding along Roxton Road, Great Barford from side of 1 a Brook lane to 43 Roxton Road.
This temporary road closure is required to source water supply and shall apply to such extent as may from time to time be indicated by the appropriate traffic signs.
This temporary road closure is anticipated to be in operation from 09:30 hours to 14:30 hours 12th May 2025 to 21st May
The signed alternative route for vehicles affected by the order is available via Roxton Road, New Road, High Street. The reverse route applies.
The proposed Order will come into operation on 12th May 2025, for a period of 12 months or until the proposed works have been completed, as detailed
