Stathe Road, Temporary Road Closure Due To Pole Replacement Works
What is happening?
Somerset Council Parish of Burrowbridge Temporary Closure of Stathe Road
Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along Stathe Road - from the junction with Stanmoor Road, south-eastwards for a total distance of 743 metres. This Order will enable Openreach to carry out pole replacement works.
The Order becomes effective on 1st May 2025 and will remain in force for 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 7th May 2025 and last until 9th May 2025 between the hours of 08:30 - 15:30 for a total of 3 days.
